How to install and activate your eSIM on iPhone
For iPhone XR, XS and newer models.
Step 1Install it 1 day before, on Wi-Fi
Open your eSIM email on the iPhone you're traveling with and tap the "Toca aquí para instalar" (tap here to install) button. No second screen needed.
Available on iPhones with an up-to-date iOS.Open the QR on another screen or on paper and scan it with the camera, or go to:

- Cellular
- Add eSIM
- Use QR Code
Then follow your iPhone's screens:
- Install the planTap Continue and wait for your iPhone to finish downloading the eSIM.
- Give it a nameLabel it so it's easy to spot, for example "MiSimCard.com". Tap Continue.
- Default line: PrimarySo you keep getting calls and texts on your usual number. Tap Continue.
- iMessage & FaceTime: PrimaryYou keep using them with your number. Tap Continue.
- Cellular data: Primary for nowLeave Allow Cellular Data Switching off. At your destination you switch data to the eSIM.

How to install and activate your eSIM on Google Pixel and other Android phones
Pixel 3 and later, and many Motorola, Xiaomi and Oppo models. On other Android phones, search "eSIM" or "SIM" in Settings: it's usually under Mobile networks or Connections.

How do I know my eSIM is active?
Once you land, check it in seconds:
- 📶You see signal on your eSIMThe bars and 4G, LTE or 5G show at the top of the screen.
- ⚙️Data and roaming onIn Settings, the eSIM is selected for data and its data roaming is on.
- 🗺️You open a map without Wi-FiTurn off Wi-Fi and open Google Maps or any page: if it loads, you're online!
✈️ Traveler's tip: if your phone takes a moment to find the network after landing, switch airplane mode on for a few seconds and off again, or restart it. Your phone finds the best local network and connects on its own.
At your destination and your eSIM won't connect? Fix it in 3 steps
It's not the eSIM: it just needs to be set up. Make your phone match this list, restart it and you're done.

- ✈️Airplane mode for 10 secondsTurn it on, wait 10 seconds and turn it off: your phone searches for the best network again.

Installation FAQ
When should I install my eSIM?
Scan the QR 1 day before your trip, on Wi-Fi and on the phone you'll use while traveling. That way you're connected from the moment you land.
When do my plan days start counting?
When you arrive at your destination, not when you buy or install it. You have 12 months from purchase to install and use it.
Do I need internet to install the eSIM?
Yes. To download the eSIM, use a stable connection: your home, hotel or airport Wi-Fi. Once installed, you browse with the eSIM's data at your destination.
Can I install the eSIM without a second screen?
Yes. On iPhone, open your eSIM email on that same iPhone and tap "Toca aquí para instalar" (tap here to install). On Android, open the QR on a computer, a tablet or a travel companion's phone, or print it.
Do I need to turn on data roaming?
Yes, turn it on for your MiSimCard.com eSIM line when you arrive: that's how it connects to local networks, at no extra cost. On your usual SIM you can leave it off.
Can I keep using WhatsApp with my number?
Yes. WhatsApp keeps your usual number and uses the eSIM's data to connect. Chat, call and video call just like at home.
How do I know if my phone has eSIM?
Dial *#06#: if the EID number shows up, your phone has eSIM. See the list of compatible phones.
Does the Europe eSIM work when I cross borders?
Yes. Your Europe eSIM connects on its own to each country's local network when you cross the border. Nothing to set up, no extra plan to buy.
We're traveling as a group: one eSIM per phone?
Yes: each eSIM installs on one phone, so each person needs their own, with its own QR.
What do I do with the eSIM when I get home?
Your plan ends on its own, with no renewals or extra charges. Whenever you like, remove it in Settings.
Where do I find the email with my eSIM?
It arrives instantly at your order email, from activacion@misimcard.com, with your QR code and the PDF guide. If it's not in your main inbox, check Promotions or write to info@misimcard.com with your order number and we'll resend it.
